Live-in Nanny for school aged boys

Fun and active sole charge live-in nanny is needed for lovely 6.5 year old twin boys at full-time school. This down to earth family needs someone from Mon-Fri 7.30-7.30, including 2 nights babysitting (Mon-Thu). You will have weekends free.

Your main duties would include getting the boys ready for school which starts at 9.00am and finishes at 3.30pm (a 15 min walk through Greenwich park). In addition other duties will include tidying their rooms, doing their laundry, cooking for boys and encouraging healthy eating. You will also be responsible for organising any shopping for the boys needs as well as encourage and support them with homework.

They boys only have football one weekday afternoon therefore the rest of the week is free for you to organise playdates and generally have fun. They have a good network of friends in the area. A driver is not essential.

Accommodation is a large double room with en-suite in a quiet part of the house away from the family.

Starts mid to end September. £380npw.

After school Nanny needed

Live-in Nanny, separate accommodation

Sole charge live-in nanny needed for lovely job with separate accommodation based in Oxfordshire. This is a unique role specifically to take care of boy and girl twins aged 3 years. It is a 35-40 hour week Sunday to Thursday midday, so a 2 and a half day weekend working on Sundays. There is also some downtime every afternoon when the nanny can pop to the gym or the shops. Accommodation is a private apartment with own entrance on the family grounds. It has a bedroom, bathroom, living room/kitchen with TV and appliances. A driver is essential and there is use of a car if you don’t have one, the family have a cleaner and so the duties are all child focussed with very little housekeeping, though a flexible attitude would be great. Looking for a cheerful, active and fun nanny who genuinely loves children. Can start ASAP £400 net per week. Interviewing ASAP.

24/5 Nanny ASAP start, £700+npw

Sole charge live-in nanny needed ASAP for boys aged 6 and 2 years. This position is Monday to Friday on call so 24/5, based in Holland Park. It is a really busy family and needs a nanny to be flexible. You have your own room and bathroom, there is a Housekeeper and a weekend nanny. This is a really busy household with people in and out all day. The eldest boy goes to FT school so much of the week is taken up with activities for the 2 year old, Swimming, Gymboree etc. Looking for someone qualified with good solid childcare experience who is highly organised, fit, active, fun and with a great sense of humour. A driver is preferable but not essential. There is some travel and due to the nature of Mum’s job you may be required to travel sometimes last minute. This is a long-term position. Starts ASAP. 3 Day Nanny needed

Daily part-time nanny is needed from end August/September for delightful boys aged 4 and 6 years (both at f/t school). This lovely family is very well known to our agency and their current Kiwi nanny of 3 years is leaving to go back to New Zealand.

The job requires a nanny to work 3 full days a week, approximately 30+ hours Mon-Wed. Ideal hours would be Mon 7.45am-6.45pm, Tue & Wed 10.00am-7.00pm plus a fortnightly babysit of 4 hours. There is flexibility to swap one of the days to a Thursday for the right candidate.

You will need to be easy going, fun and have a ‘can do’ attitude. In addition to standard nursery duties you will need to cook for the boys, do the school runs, organise after school activities, do their laundry, help with primary level homework such as reading, writing, maths and science projects. A manual driver is essential and childcare qualification highly preferable.

Salary offered will be £11-12nph depending on the candidates experience and in addition the family offer a generous 8 weeks of paid holiday. Starts end Aug/beg Sep. A current 1st aid certificate, DBS and checkable references will be requested at interview.

This family is relocating to West London (Chiswick area) and looking for an active and energetic nanny who can keep up with two very busy boys, someone who will be firm but fair and will set boundaries. 30 hours’ free childcare for 3/4 year olds

30 Hours’ free childcare – will your child get it?

Government plans to double free childcare to 30 hours a week for 3 and 4 year olds have been updated by George Osborne in his Autumn Statement 2015. The Chancellor revealed a couple of changes to the original plans…

1 The 30-hours free childcare will now only be available to parents who work more than 16 hours a week. This means parents who work 2 days a week or under are not eligible – although it looks like they will still receive the 15 hours free childcare that is currently available.

2 There’s also a salary cap, although it’s at the very high end. Parents who individually earn more than £100,000 a year will not be eligible.

The Government is planning to roll out a pilot scheme in a few areas in September 2016 – it’s yet to be announced where those pilot areas will be. The scheme is scheduled to go nationwide in 2017.
