Spanish Nanny, 3 full days a week, ASAP start, £13nph

Spanish speaking nanny is needed 3 full days on Tue, Wed & Thu from 8.15am-6.15pm to look after a 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. Mum is having a baby in January and will be on maternity leave. Someone with newborn/baby experience would be a plus but is not essential, provided you are willing to learn.

The ideal candidate needs to speak fluent Spanish and be happy to speak Spanish to the children. English is the first language at home, however the children have had a Spanish nanny who will be leaving at the end of December.

Standard nursery duties, including taking the children to activities, organising playdates and keeping the house tidy. You will also need to prepare healthy children’s meals from scratch. One of the children has allergies and uses an epi-pen so knowledge of allergies would be a bonus and first aid training essential. A driver is not needed and the family do have a cleaner. A childcare qualification is preferable but not essential.

A lovely professional family based in Marylebone are looking for a temporary daily nanny for their 9 month old baby girl on a part-time basis. The position will start on January 3rd for 12 weeks (until end of March) and you will be needed Mon-Fri from 12.30 – 6.30pm.

This position will suit a nanny who is sociable, confident and enjoys working in a team. Duties will include maintaining her daily feeding and sleeping routine, trips to the park (Regents Park is very local), entertaining her at home with stimulating activities, free play, reading and singing.

Experience working with babies with the ability to demonstrate good knowledge on weaning and development stages is essential. Someone creative with the ability to encourage imaginative play who can offer a range of stimulating activities. Experience working with babies of a similar age is strongly preferred.

Experience and knowledge of weaning, routines and early childhood development are essential. The family have a cleaner and a driving is not required. The family are based very centrally, close to Regent’s Park and all the amenities in the surrounding area.

You will be responsible for taking the children to school and picking up. When they are at school you will be responsible for organising play dates, preparing and cooking meals, picking up or ordering shopping, buying uniforms, birthday presents and children’s laundry and bed etc. After school there are a few activities, homework and play dates but the week is not too full on. The children are a balance between being arty and a bit sporty. They are very creative. They do have quite generous school holidays. A driver is not essential but could be helpful. Sole charge live- out nanny is needed 4 days a week for a lovely professional family. The children are girls aged 4 and 6 and one is at nursery until 3pm and the other at full time school. They do have generous holidays so you will have them at home then. The position is 4 days a week, Mon-Thu. 3 days from 7.30 am – 6.30 pm and one day from 7.30 am through to a babysit. You will be responsible for drop offs and pick ups which can be done walking or by public transport.

During term time you will be responsible for running errands, online grocery shopping, sending parcels emptying the dishwasher, running through laundry and dinner preparation, and possibly family PA duties. There is also a cleaner. After school there are activities, playdates and creative persuits.

The children are very creative and love art and music. They family do travel and so would be great if someone wanted to join them on any of their excursions. Looking for someone who is amazing with children who may have a qualification in childcare with a good childcare background. The family are very calm and laid back, would love someone who enjoys plays and someone with an interest perhaps in the arts. Experienced daily nanny is needed for lovely family living in Barnes. They are looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny for their two boys who are aged 3 ½ years (at nursery x 5 mornings) and 18 months.

The ideal candidate must have an interest in leading outdoor activities year-round, lead and engage in creative play, swimming, plan playdates with other children, have an interest in educational development. They should be able to help with homework (when applicable), be dog friendly (they have a French Bulldog) and willing to cook nutritional meals for the children. In addition they should be happy to take responsibility for household management where the children are concerned (children’s laundry, tidying areas used by children, organisation of playroom and children’s wardrobes, etc). They have a preference for a candidate with a strong background in early childhood education, experience working in nurseries, and/or formal nanny training. The family have an automatic car that can be used for nursery duties should the candidate hold a current driving license.

Starts ASAP – but willing to wait for the right candidate. Monday – Friday (also willing to accommodate 4 day week of Tuesday – Friday). Preferred working hours are 8.00/8.30am – 6.30/7pm daily with optional late start of 2.30/2.45 on Monday and Wednesday, however these are only preferences, there is flexibility for the right candidate. Some optional evening babysitting as needed.

Salary: £ 10 – £12 net per hour based on experience. Holiday: 28 days per annum, with bulk of time off being August and Christmas holidays when the family are away travelling.

There may be an opportunity to travel with the family, 1-2 weeks a year but this is not essential. Typical locations include USA, Barbados, France, Italy, Austria.

Recent DBS/Police check required, no older than 1 year please. Current Paediatric First Aid and CPR certificate, or willing to attend a course for certification at the family’s cost before start. CACHE certificate or diploma in childcare and education, or Level 3 Diploma in Home-based childcare.

Nanny needed in Bermuda, £1000 p/w after tax

Excellent opportunity has arisen to work in Bermuda on a one year contract. Lovely South African family based in Bermuda are looking for a sole charge nanny, live-out, Monday to Friday for baby twins, a boy and a girl who will be 4 months old.

Working hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday with weekends off. A qualification is essential and twins experience would be highly preferable. Excellent knowledge of babies, routines, weaning etc is essential. The twins were born early and are in a great routine. They have an English maternity nurse currently and the nanny will take over from her. Mum will be returning to work.

The family will sort out relevant permit to work on the island. You would be required to find accommodation, there is a large ex-pat community of young professionals in Bermuda. The family are looking at paying the nanny $1000 a week after tax, and food and rent will come out of this. The family would require the nanny to drive their car but will provide a bike for getting around the island. New York, Miami and Boston are all within easy reach (around 2 hours). January start.

Lovely family in NW11 need help with their four children, G12, B9, B6 (all at f/t school) and G3 (at nursery until 12.15). This position requires a team player. Mum works from home so this is a job that has some sole and some shared. Mum generally helps out during busy times of the day or when the children have different after school activities. A driver is not essential.

The family employ a full-time housekeeper who does all the cleaning and laundry. Your duties will include, but not be limited to organising the children’s wardrobes, packing away clean laundry, running errands, doing the grocery shopping for the whole family as well as cooking for the family. Someone who can help with homework would be very useful. This job offers lots of flexibility in terms of hours for the right candidate. It would be Monday to Friday, however the hours could be as little as 40 or as much as 55, all dependent on how much you want to work, keeping in mind that the afternoons are the busiest. A 7.30pm finish (possibly a couple of nights a week) would be ideal but it’s not a deal breaker. Starts ASAP. £10-12net per hour dependent on experience.
