Temp live-in nannies needed from July

We have several temporary live-in nanny positions in London and the Countryside with children ranging from 4-12 years all starting mid July. Jobs range from 2 weeks to 3 months. If you are qualified in childcare, have experience working as a nanny, an up to date 1st aid certificate, DBS and free from July then we would like to hear from you. Some jobs may need a driver but this is not essential for all.

All jobs will require you to take care of all nursery duties, keeping the children entertained, running their day to day schedules, school runs, helping with homework, preparing healthy home cooked meals, children’s laundry and light household duties. In most cases you will have your own room and bathroom or share a bathroom with the children. Working hours will be Mon-Fri, approx. 55-60 hours a week and will require up to 2 nights babysitting during the week.

Salaries vary depending on individual jobs ranging from £350-450npw.

Fun nanny needed ASAP

Fun yet firm all- rounder needed for a boy aged 11 at FT school. Looking for someone caring and nurturing with a good sense of humour. The family also have two little dogs so would be great if this person is also a dog lover. Very minimal housekeeping is required as there is a full time cleaner but you should be up for anything and happy to muck in. A driver is highly preferable as the boy has sports activities etc. After breakfast and helping organize school bag with kit and homework, you will have lot of free time, you may have errands to run, shopping on line etc, but lots of scope for going to the gym or for a coffee. The afternoons are made up of homework, tea, shower etc. This is a very fun household in a stunning location in Richmond, a beautiful house where you will have your own large room, study with TV. Competitive salary offered based on experience.

Sole charge live-in nanny needed for delightful baby girl aged 12 months. Looking for someone kind and loving with a good childcare background and knowledge of all the stages of development. Duties include standard nursery duties, preparing healthy home cooked meals and taking the little girl to local playgroups in the area. Really nice down to earth parents, looking for someone exceptionally reliable as they have professional careers. You will have your own room and bathroom. The hours are Mon-Fri, 8am until 6.30pm and there will be some babysitting. Starts ASAP. Salary £300-350 net per week.

Pension for nannies? Do you qualify?

What is Automatic Enrolment?

Automatic enrolment is a new law with requires all employers – including nanny employers – to make sure they have a pension in place for their employee.

Most nannies will need to be automatically enrolled into the pension scheme, and both the nanny and the employer will have to contribute to it.

Most nannies do qualify; nannies who are aged between 22 and the State Pension Age and earn above the Tax Free Allowance (currently £10,000) will need to be automatically enrolled. A nanny who does not qualify to be automatically enrolled still has the right to ask to join a workplace pension.

If you started employing after 1st April 2012, you will not be affected until June 2015 at the very earliest.

Live in nanny, Jan 2016 – Position Filled

Sole charge live in nanny is needed in Clapham for lovely family with a busy household. You will be in charge of looking after three children, a 5 1/2 year old girl at f/t school, a 3.5 year old girl at nursery every morning and a baby boy aged 11 months. Must have relevant childcare experience with mutiple children. Large double room with bathroom next door, different floor to the children. Must be a good manual driver. Hours are 8-8, Mon to Fri with 2 nights babysitting. School, Broomwood Hall is a 2 min walk from home, nursery is 10 min. Ideally a non-smoker, someone who likes cats, they have 2. They would love a fun, enthusiastic temporary nanny to help their transition from around the middle of December for 4-6 weeks. They are flexible with hours but are looking for ideally someone from 8am-6pm, there will be some days when you may finish earlier. Obviously the bank holidays will be off and there is a bit of flexibility around this time should you need it. Really lovely down to earth family. Salary in the region of £10-12 net per hour.

Live-in Nanny job, ASAP – Position filled

Live-in nanny needed for family with adorable boy and girl twins aged 7 months and a boy aged 3 years. This is a shared care role and you will be responsible predominantly for the babies. The family also have a lovely full-time live-out nanny Mon-Fri who looks after the 3 year old, however sometimes there may be some overlap. Standard nursery duties as there is a housekeeper 3 days a week. Good accommodation in a slightly separate flat adjoining the family, where you will have your own room, bathroom and use of the kitchen, the family do however use parts of the flat and are in the process of renovating a large house in Pimlico which they hope to move into in the next twelve months. Lovely International family, with a busy household so never a dull moment.
The twins are in an excellent routine as they have had a maternity nurse who is due to finish 6th June. Travelling with the family is an important part of this job, so you need to be flexible, willing and up for it!! Mainly to Europe. Driver not essential. Looking for a career nanny with excellent checkable references, solid baby experience and good knowledge of early childhood development. Experience with multiples would also be great, though not essential. Could start ASAP. Excellent salary £450-500npw

Live-in nanny job, starts Aug, SW18, Wandsworth – Position Filled

Sole charge live-in nanny needed in Wandsworth for Girl aged 5 and twin boy and girl aged 8 years old. School is within walking distance. Looking for someone who has good experience looking after older children who understands the demands of the beginning and end of the day and is therefore organised, with a firm but fun nature. Homework is an important part of the job so if you have teaching experience or you are a graduate, that would be great. Also situated in green and leafy South West London there are lots of parks to roam and therefore someone who is naturally outdoorsy would be brilliant. There is even a bike for the nanny should you wish to use it! There is a cleaner but it would be great if you are happy to muck in a bit to keep this busy household ticking. The family also have a lovely dog so would be great if you can take him on the school run and out and about when running errands. A driver is also essential. For live-in there is a large double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The hours are 7.30am-6.30pm Monday to Thursday with a half day most Fridays. Starts the first week in August. Previous nanny highly recommends. Salary in the region of £400-450 net per week live-in.
